Terms & Conditions
Version 2026-06-19 · Last updated 2026-06-19. These terms are a legal agreement between you and Products People Care About Limited. Please read them before using Building.
1. Who we are
Building is operated by Products People Care About Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13311255, with its registered office at 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us at hello@productspeoplecareabout.com.
2. The service and eligibility
Building helps you plan, document and manage a building or renovation project — capturing requirements, rooms, documents, suppliers, alternatives and purchases, with an optional AI assistant. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the service. The service is currently offered to customers in the United Kingdom only.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@productspeoplecareabout.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation. We may require two-factor authentication for accounts with administrative access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Building to upload or share anything unlawful, infringing, defamatory or malicious; to attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure; or to use it in breach of any applicable law. You must hold the necessary rights to any plans, photographs, documents or other material you upload, and you must respect the intellectual property and privacy rights of others.
5. Subscription, trial and payment
- Pricing. Building costs £19 per month per project (one project = one address). Collaborators you invite to a project are free.
- Free trial. Each new project includes a 10-day free trial. A valid payment card is required when you create the project; we will not charge it until the trial ends.
- Billing and renewal. After the trial, the subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
- Cancellation. You can cancel a project's subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain access until then.
- Refunds and your statutory rights. As the service is supplied digitally and on a monthly basis with a free trial, we do not generally offer refunds for part-months. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- VAT. Prices are stated in pounds sterling. We do not currently handle VAT separately; prices are the total amount payable.
- Price changes. We may change our prices on at least 30 days' notice; the new price applies from your next renewal and you may cancel before it takes effect.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the plans, photographs, documents and other material you upload (“your content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and process your content solely to provide and improve the service to you and the collaborators you invite. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we must retain copies to comply with law or for a reasonable period in our backups.
7. AI assistant — important disclaimer
Building includes an AI assistant. Its output is generated automatically, may be incomplete or incorrect, and is provided to assist you only. It is not professional architectural, structural, surveying, planning, building-control, legal or financial advice. You must independently verify any output and obtain sign-off from suitably qualified professionals before relying on it or acting on it. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI output.
8. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Building available and reliable, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, suspend or remove features, and may carry out maintenance that temporarily interrupts access. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
9. Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period. We are not liable for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period where practical before deleting it in the ordinary course.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will notify you and, where appropriate, ask you to re-accept the updated terms before continuing to use the service. The current version and date are shown at the top of this page.
12. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in your local courts.
